Mitchell Pearce, Wendell Sailor, and Adam MacDougall are just some of the NRL stars ready to help raise money for the AHA NSW Variety Bash.
The AHA NSW Variety Bash is an iconic 2,500-kilometre, round-trip, adventure across NSW starting and finishing in Newcastle in cars more than 30 years old.
On Friday, 11 May the Royal Crown Hotel at Dudley will hold a fundraiser in support of the event with the goal of raising $30,000 for the cause.
"We have five cars in our AHA NSW Variety Bash team," hotel co-owner Travis Hargreaves said."All our cars are nostalgic NRL teams. I am in the Newtown Jets car along with Adam Leacy from Colliers, and Sam Arnaout from Iris Hospitality."

Hosted by KO-FM's Frank Barret, the event will be a relaxed afternoon of beers and food, while listening to some stories of the ‘good old footy days’ along with some great opportunities to get some great prizes and auction items.
" This will be a great event," Travis said.
"I have a young family myself and have had many friends with children who required assistance from organisations such as Variety."I am originally from Coonamble in rural NSW and understand how being in these remote areas also compounds the issues young families have in gaining access to help when needed.
"Variety have a great concept in the Variety Bash, which appeals to people like myself to band together with mates and get out and raise funds and have a good time doing it."
Participants in the Bash will make stops along the way, visiting and donating to children in need throughout regional NSW.
The Australian Hotels Association Newcastle Hunter has been the major sponsor of the AHA NSW Variety Bash since 2013, and has raised more than $360,000 for the organisation.
Tickets are $120 and can be purchased by going to www.tryboooking.com
