If you're in need of an Australia Day celebration recovery plan and love a good lamb sandwich, The Farmers Hotel, Vacy is the place to be this Sunday.
On the last Sunday of each month, the hotel will be cooking up camp-oven cooked lamb sandwiches, while also raising money for a non-profit organisation.
"We will have gold coin donation tins there to raise money, $5 lamb sandwiches and live music to make an afternoon of it," hotelier Maurice Harden said.
"We will choose the charity recipient on the day with our patrons. It just has to be a registered non-profit organisation or school."
Long-time local, 85 year-old Duog will also be cutting the ribbon to the hotel's beer garden upgrade project on the day.
The Charity Lamb Lunch will be held this Sunday, 28 January with lamb sandwiches served up from 1pm and live music with Redbelly from 2pm.
